Winy Maas is a co-founding director of MVRDV, a Netherlands-based architecture and urbanism firm. Winy is also the
director of The Why Factory, an independent think tank and research institute that is dedicated to conceiving future cities around the world. A holder of three master’s degrees – in architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design and planning – Winy teaches in schools around the globe.
